Sen. Chuck Schumer has slammed Donald Trump‘s administration for temporarily canceling Tuesday’s Congressional classified briefings on Iran.
The House and Senate were set to receive separate all-member briefings about the the conflict in the Middle East, including America’s missile strikes on Iranian nuclear sites, from top national security aides including Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and CIA Director John Ratcliffe.
Now the Senate briefing has been pushed back until Thursday, while the House has not been given a new date for theirs.
“What are they afraid of?” Schumer, the Minority Leader of the U.S. Senate, asked in front of reporters at the Capitol on Tuesday.
