In Week 6, the Roughnecks eked out a close 21-20 win over Memphis, surviving a pair of fourth-quarter field goals from the Showboats.

Houston quarterback Jalan McClendon was 20-for-28 for 149 yards and a touchdown in the win, completing a 13-yard pass to Justin Hall for the score. Hall finished the game with six catches for 38 yards, leading the team in both categories.

On the ground, Zaquandre White rushed 13 times for 50 yards, but the real star was the defense, as Houston’s win was cemented when T.J. Franklin returned a fumble for a touchdown.

As for the Stallions, Week 6 saw the team come away with a 26-3 win over the San Antonio Brahmas. Case Cookus was 16-for-23 for 166 yards and two touchdowns, with Amari Rodgers and Jace Sternberger each finding the end zone on the star-studded Stallions team, which also saw Deon Cain and Jordan Thomas record catches.

Ricky Person Jr. ran the ball nine times for 32 yards and a touchdown in the Birmingham victory.
