The Green Bay Packers are one of the NFL‘s top up-and-coming teams.
With Jordan Love at quarterback and talent at key positions, they are primed to challenge the Lions and the Vikings at the top of the division.
In order to get there, they will have to fill some needs in the 2025 NFL Draft on both sides of the ball, including wide receiver, defensive tackle, and corner.
With that in mind, lets take a look at three of the best fits for Green Bay at the No. 23 overall.

Aaron E. Martinez/Austin American-Statesman
Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
Odds are at this point, the top two wide receivers not named Travis Hunter – Matthew Golden and Tetairoa McMillan – will be off of the board.
Fortunately, Ohio State’s Emeka Egbuka will likely still be available, and is perfectly capable of coming in an being a top option for the Packers.
Last season at Ohio State, Egbuka surprised many by returning to Columbus for another season. All he did was help Ohio State win a national title and haul in over 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns.
He would give Love a legit No. 1 target and set up their receiver group for a long time.
Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss
Ole Miss defensive tackle Walter Nolen is an interesting name for many reasons, namely because he could go anywhere from top 15 to early in the second round.
One thing is clear though: he has all the tools at the position and could improve the Packers’ run defense and pass rush simultaneously.
If he is available, the Packers would be just fine picking him up to solidify their defensive line.
Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas
Another big need for the Packers is in the secondary. It is likely that Michigan corner Will Johnson will be off of the board by this point, which leaves only one name in the first round for the Packers to pursue – Texas corner, Jahdae Barron.
Barron is a do-it-all Swiss army knife in the secondary, and can play in the slot, on the outside or at safety. They added Nate Hobbs in free agency, but Barron would go much further to solidify that spot.
