Sony was dishing out the announcements at CinemaCon last night, and Spider-Man fans were served well as not only did fans get a Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse first look and new release date, but the official title and new details were revealed about the upcoming Tom Holland-led Spider-Man.
Director Destin Daniel Cretton took the stage in Las Vegas, where he revealed the first logo for Spider-Man: Brand New Day and confirmed the release date will be July 31, 2026.
While plot details remain firmly under wraps, Cretton teased, “I’m spending my time exploring the next stage of this amazing character with a team of the most incredible artists in the world.”

The film’s star, Tom Holland, couldn’t join the event in person as he is currently on set filming for Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film The Odyssey, but he tuned in virtually to say, “I know we left you with a massive cliffhanger at the end of No Way Home, so Spider-Man: Brand New Day is a fresh start. It is exactly that. That’s all I can say.”
