The Women’s NCAA Tournament continues on Saturday with the Sweet 16. No. 1 seed Texas takes on No. 5 seed Tennessee for a spot in the Elite Eight.

Texas is coming off a 65-48 win in the second round against Illinois. Madison Booker led the way for the Longhorns with 20 points, along with six rebounds and two steals, while Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda came off the bench to score 19. Rori Harmon was held to only four points but added seven assists and four steals.

Tennessee defeated Ohio State 82-67 to advance to the Sweet 16. Talaysia Cooper’s 19 points off the bench led the Lady Vols. Cooper also added eight rebounds, five assists, and seven steals.

Texas won the regular season meeting of these teams 80-76, behind 26 points from Booker and 21 from Taylor Jones.
