White House adviser Stephen Miller has said Charlie Kirk gave him a message before his assassination, which was to “dismantle” what he called the “radical left.”

Miller said that the killing of Kirk, a stanch ally of President Donald Trump and proponent of the MAGA movement, took place within the backdrop of “a domestic terrorism movement in this country.”

There is no independent confirmation backing up Miller’s statement which comes as Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk vowed to never let Charlie’s legacy die and suspected killer Tyler Robinson remains in custody.

Miller’s’ comments will add to the debates about political violence, free speech, and the future of conservative activism in the U.S. that have been sparked by the assassination of Kirk, who has shot and killed at a public speaking event at Utah Valley University on September 10.

Speaking to Fox News on Friday, Miller, the White House deputy chief of staff for policy, said that the actions by the “radical left” formed a call for violence, adding that since Kirk’s killing, federal workers, nurses and bureaucrats were among those “celebrating” his assassination.

Kirk’s assassination has been deeply polarizing, and a growing number of workers across the country are being removed from their jobs or facing sanctions for praising the killing.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has said that the Pentagon is “tracking closely” any civilian and military employees who are celebrating the murder.

Miller said the condemnation of right-wing figures as “enemies of the people” and the revealing of their addresses was an attempt “to inspire someone to murder them.”

“These are radicalized people,” Miller said as he went on to describe what he said was “the last message” that he had received from Kirk “before he joined his creator in heaven.”

This was to dismantle and radical left organizations which are fomenting violence as he suggested there would be a crackdown on “the domestic terrorists in this country spreading this evil hate.” Miller added that “we will not live in fear” of domestic terrorists who will face the power of law enforcement under Trump’s leadership.

It comes as Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, said in a statement that “the movement my husband built will not die” and Trump condemned the “heinous assassination.”
