The Golden State Warriors have been the least active team this offseason. They currently have only 10 players under contract, which is below the league standard of 15.

The Warriors have a long way to go on that front, and the only thing that seems to be stopping them from completing their roster is the ongoing free agency saga of Jonathan Kuminga.

Kuminga and the Warriors have been far apart in terms of contract negotiations. As the offseason winds down, the 22-year-old is limited to only two options, at least to Brett Siegel of Clutch Points.

“As we wrote about on Monday, Kuminga is essentially left with two options at this point. He can either accept Golden State’s offer on the table, which doesn’t appear to be changing at the moment, or accept his qualifying offer.

“No matter what, both paths lead to Kuminga reuniting with the Warriors for the 2025-26 season, which has been the most likely outcome since free agency began.”
