A positive injury update has emerged for one of AEW’s top stars. Former AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy has been medically cleared to return to the ring, and his comeback could be happening “sooner than later.”

His laid-back, slacker persona, combined with his surprising bursts of in-ring athleticism, made him one of the most unique and popular characters in all of professional wrestling. His connection with the AEW audience is undeniable, and his absence has been felt.
His return will be a welcome boost to an AEW roster that is currently without several of its other top stars, including Adam Cole, Will Ospreay, Swerve Strickland, and Dustin Rhodes, who are all also sidelined with legitimate injuries. The wrestling world will now be eagerly awaiting the return of “Freshly Squeezed.”
