Two concerned dog owners took their corgi to the vet when he started limping and walking awkwardly—but nothing could have prepared them for what the actual problem was.

After going to the park with his owners, Brady the corgi started to nibble at his paw and kept kicking it into the grass as if trying to remove something. It looked like he’d hurt his foot, but his owners couldn’t see any obvious issues when they checked it over.

Even though Brady kept trying to run it off, he didn’t seem himself and his owners wanted to get a better look. They wondered whether he’d got something stuck in his paw pad, but he got stressed whenever they got too close to the area. It was clear that something was ailing him, so Brady’s owners took him to the vets later in the day.

The poor pup left the emergency vet with a cone around his head, looking awfully proud of himself. But while his owners awaited the results of the X-ray scan, Brady suddenly came back to life.

He was acting perfectly fine, running around and being his normal self. Indeed, his owner noted that he was “completely fine the rest of the day.”

What could have possibly caused this dramatic injury that required a trip to the vets?

Ultimately, they believe that Brady “stepped on a bee” and just wasn’t too happy about it.

Throughout the concern of that day, Brady’s owner documented the experience and couldn’t resist sharing it on the dog’s dedicated TikTok account (@bradygraffiti_corgis). The clip was shared on June 28, and it left internet users in hysterics, leading to more than 7.6 million views and over 447,000 likes at the time of writing.

Although his owners may have expected Brady’s dramatic injury to be the result of something far worse than a little bee, they are just glad that he is fine and back to his usual self.

In a follow-up TikTok post, his owner said that Brady went for another appointment at the vet who “confirmed his foot looks good” and he doesn’t have anything stuck.

Since the clip went viral online, TikTok users have lauded Brady’s theatrics after just stepping on a bee. This has led to more than 830 comments on the post in just a matter of days.

One comment reads: “That’s an expensive lesson.”

Another TikTok user wrote: “corgi has always been dramatic.”

A third person added: “this just happened to me! It stresses me out not to know what happened.”

One commenter posted: “And there goes the mortgage.”
